The World-Wind-Atlas offers quick and easy access to wind-maps, wind-statics, wind-roses or time series of the wind. For the first time you will gain access to wind data of the last 50 years on more than 3000 locations all over the world. The World-Wind-Atlas covers all continents and the near off-shore coastal areas.

• Establish windmaps, windroses or time series of the wind with an easy to use interface.
• Winddata from 1950 - 2010.
• Monthly up-dates with most recent wind data for the current year.
• Winddata are available at 50m above topography or for the geostrophic winds.
• Export all grafics in different formats (png, tiff, ps, pdf ...).
• Produce WAsP-compatible file of any windrose.
• Export time series as ASCII-file and use them in other programs like WindPRO, Windfarmer etc.
• Choose between different languages: English, German, French, Spanish
